The Go! is here..and we think you're going to love it!
Today (1st October 2020) we're very proud to introduce a brand new product to all our customers, which we believe will totally change the way we deliver telecare services across Nottinghamshire.
GO! is one of the first pendant alarms of its kind in the UK. Where most alarms are based in the home, this allows its user to go wherever they want, with peace of mind.
Designed for the more active user, the alarm will tell our local call centre if you have a fall, or you can press it to let us know if you feel ill, are injured, lost or worried.
Features of the Go!:
- Two way speech – this means you can speak and listen to the call centre wherever you are, as soon as you press your alarm
- Falls detection – this will automatically raise an alert with the call centre if you have a hard fall
- GPS location – the call centre will know where you are if you are not able to tell them
- 1–2 months battery life – this is dependent on usage, but you will get a warning when the battery is low with up to two days battery life left.
Antony Dixon, Head of Nottingham on Call, said: "We have been looking for a product for a long time that would really work for our more active customers, who are often out and about on their own. Peace of mind doesn't have to just remain in the home. We feel that wearing this pendant, or having the Go! as a keyring in your pocket or bag, will offer you and your family the peace of mind that someone will be there on the end of the line, wherever you are. We feel a mobile care option like this is a game changer in telecare, and we're delighted to be one of the first in the UK to offer this service."
Those using the Go! will still benefit from all the standard monitoring services provided by Nottingham on Call - the same friendly local operators on the end of the line, and the option of the local response service if you're still local to your home and need non-medical urgent help.
