Our Support Packages

We have a range of packages available to you, which we have built based on our years of experience responding to alarm calls from the residents of Nottingham.

Each package has been developed to provide the right type of assistance you need to help you feel happier, safer and more independent in your own home.

Although we have developed a few options, we do understand that not everyone is the same. We will always be happy to adapt any of these packages to your individual requirements, or to create bespoke packages from scratch, if that’s what works for you.

Key safe available on all packages

For an extra 75p per week, all of these packages can include a police-approved key safe to allow ease of access in an emergency situation.

Reassurance

For as little as £4.35 (plus VAT) per week, we will provide you with:

  • A Lifeline System

    This system is connected to your landline and provides a direct link to the Nottingham on Call contact centre 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • A Pendant Alarm

    The pendant alarm links to your lifeline system and allows you to press it wherever you are in the home to contact Nottingham on Call.

  • An instant response

    Our service from a trained professional, based just down the road. Our call centre staff have local knowledge meaning we can offer you the fastest response possible

  • Caring Operators

    Operators who will stay on the line with you, until additional help arrives at your door

  • A Mobile Response

    Our mobile response is for non-medical emergencies, if required. This is also available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year*

  • A Falls Lifting service

    Our Falls Lifting service is available for free as part of our personal alarm and monitoring support, to help non-injured fallers get up again safely.

Please note: standard lifeline units connect to a telephone line. Your telephone line provider will charge you the standard call rate for all activations made by your alarm unit. This cost is normally minimal.

Secure at Home

For £5.95 (plus VAT) per week, we will provide you with everything in the Reassurance package. In addition we will provide either a smoke detector or bogus caller alarm, and one of the following:

  • Extreme Temperature Monitor

    This provides advanced alerts of extreme household temperatures, such as fire hazards or extreme winter conditions that could result in burst pipes.

  • Smoke Detector

    Smoke detectors are self-contained devices that can detect a fire and give a warning alarm when they do so.

  • Carbon Monoxide Monitor

    A carbon monoxide detector is a critical and potentially life saving device that sounds an alert if it detects the presence of the odourless, tasteless and colourless gas.

  • Bogus Caller Alarm

    Usually fixed near the front door, this button will offer reassurance in the event of an unexpected caller. It can also be used to summon assistance. Such incidents will be automatically recorded and could be used in evidence.

Safe at Home

For £6.99 (plus VAT) per week, we will provide you with everything in the Reassurance package. In addition we will supply a falls detector and bed or chair sensor.

Mobile Care

From just £2.50 a month we have a range of mobile care options which range from an App for your existing phone, to a pager-style device, and even specifically programmed smartphones. Using any one of these devices, you can contact us quickly if you fall, are taken ill, or are in need of urgent help. We can remotely access your location using GPS tracking on your device and make sure someone can find you as soon as possible. Prices include all data and call charges.

  • Doro secure 580IP

    This basic phones allows you to press for help when you need it, whether you are at home or out and about. £7.69 per week.

  • Doro 8040 Smartphone

    This phone operates like a normal smartphone, but also includes a specific button to press if you need help. this can be activated whether you’re in the home or out. £8.09 per week.

  • Nottingham On Call Android App

    If you already have an Android smartphone, you can download the NOC App, which will help you to call us for help if you need it. £5.69 per week. if you already have a NOC care alarm, it’s £2.50 per week.

  • Oysta Pearl+

    The Oysta Pearl+ is a mobile device with an in-built falls detector and SOS emergency button which can instantly contact our call centre. It is a small screen pager phone which can be worn on a lanyard. £8.69 per week.

Installation

We charge an initial installation fee of just £19.95. During your installation, one of our friendly and skilled engineers will fit your lifeline and walk you through how to use the technology.

Support for Independence

For £7.99 (plus VAT) per week, we will provide you with everything in the Reassurance, Secure at Home and Safe at Home packages.

Bespoke packages

We can create bespoke packages to meet your individual needs. To learn more about the items we offer, please view our full list of equipment. Bespoke packages are priced individually based on the combination of equipment you need.

For GSM lifelines (these are lifeline units which can work with a mobile phone) there is an additional charge of £1.50 per week. This includes all call charges.

Daily reassurance

For £3.50 (plus VAT) per week, you’ll get a daily phone call from a member of our team. This can be arranged at a time of your choosing and can be booked and changed on a weekly basis.

Funding help

You may be eligible to have the cost of our services paid for by your local council, if you are in receipt of a long-term funded social care package. Call us on 0115 746 9010 to discuss.
